As any Box Tops 4 Education Coordinator can attest, collecting and organizing Box Tops can be a time-consuming job. Box Tops Collection Sheets are the answer to an easy collection process! We use them often at our school, and combined with some sort of contest or visual aid, they can be a powerful way to collect those little 10 cent rectangles in a quick, easy way.
November is a busy time. With parent-teacher conferences, Veteran’s Day, and the Thanksgiving holiday, I knew there just wouldn’t be time to run an all-out collection contest. I built a quick bulletin board with a featherless turkey, cut out a bunch of different color construction paper feathers (no pattern—just simple, freehand feathers), and made copies of collection sheets to send home with each student in the school.
The collection sheets hold 10 Box Tops each. For each filled sheet a student brings in, they earn a feather for the turkey. Once the student has written his name on the feather, I add it to the turkey on the bulletin board. Our turkey is filling out quite nicely!
