Teacher Organization is essential to keeping your sanity as a teacher.  When I started teaching over 20 years ago, there was definitely a lot of paperwork associated with the job. As the years have progressed, the paperwork has increased.  There is SO much to keep track of!

How does a teacher manage to keep afloat? By getting organized and staying organized! A little bit of organizational effort before the school year begins can pay off big-time for the rest of the school year. I created my Teacher’s Yearly Planner for my own use, and then realized other teachers could benefit from it, too.

There are 3 major benefits to choosing myTeacher’s Yearly Binders:

  1. They are EDITABLE. You can easily add text right from your own computer and then print out or you can add with pen or pencil. You choose!
  2. They are very AFFORDABLE!  Just $8 gets you a ton of teacher-organization goodness! There are over 130 pages to choose from in each binder system!
  3. This is the BIGGIE. Once you buy one of my teacher planners, you never have to buy another one. I will update the calendar portion and the dates every year by the end of May, and you can download the NEW version FREE of charge. Pretty cool, huh? 😀

Here’s how it is set up:

First, choose the theme and design you like:

Then, add your name and/or subject in your favorite font to the pre-labeled editable cover and divider pages (these sample pictures are from my Editable Chalkboard and Chevron Yearly Planner:

OR add your OWN titles to the unlabeled cover and divider pages!

Then, choose the filler pages that apply to your level and your classroom. You can add text (it is a Powerpoint file with tables and text boxes already in place) or you can print out the pages and use a good ol’ #2 pencil…or a colored fine-point Sharpie (my personal favorites) to add the information. The choice is yours!

Here are some of the types of pages you’ll find in each teacher’s binder:

Finally, assemble in a 3-ring binder. You are set for the school year!

Here is a picture of the binder I used in my own classroom last year:
