Halloween Books for Kids – 10 Scary Suggestions

As a teacher of the upper elementary grades for over 23 years, I understand all too well the struggle of keeping students’ attention during those busy holiday months. I found a solution that I’d love to share with you! Picture books. Yes, picture books. Today I thought it would be fun to share my picks for 10 Halloween books for kids that can help teach important lessons. I know you will love them!

Older elementary kids need to still have fun and make connections with books on a regular basis. Picture books are perfect for teaching lessons and supporting academic skills they are learning in other subjects.
