Constitution Day is celebrated on September 17 each year in the United States. This day is set aside to remember the day that the United States Constitution was signed on September 17, 1787. In 2004, a law was made that requires all educational institutions that receive federal funds to celebrate or teach about the Constitution on this day. Here are four engaging Constitution Day Activities that you can easily use in your upper elementary classroom.

Upper Elementary Constitution Day Activities
All of the Constitution Day activities are high on fact content but low on teacher prep. Since upper elementary students are able to do all of the prep work, you can just copy the pages you want to use. Then fill your day with lessons and activities that provide your students with facts and a better understanding of the Constitution.
You can find all of these Constitution Day activities in my store. The first 3 activities are part of this U.S. Constitution Interactive Notebook set. While all of these activities work well as part of an interactive notebook, they do not have to be put into a notebook. This resource includes both a printable version and digital version of all activities.
