Literary Genre is an important part of Reading/ELA in many grade levels. This poster set makes it easy to reinforce the concept year-round. It could also be used during a unit about genre in literature.

The set has 2 colorful, attractive polka-dot poster sets: one with a chalkboard frame and the other with a white frame (for less ink usage). These posters are well-suited to intermediate, middle, and high school grade levels.

One great way to use them is to have students write titles of books they have read on Post-it notes, then add the notes under its corresponding genre. This could be a year-long activity.
